About Valley Animal Hospital

About Valley Animal Hospital in Geneva

Valley Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility that was established in 1960 by Dr. William Lovett. In 2003, Dr. James Juriga expanded VAH with the construction of the larger facility that we are currently in today.

The facilities are still owned by the Juriga family corporation but the operating assets are owned by a larger group called National Veterinary Associates or NVA. NVA purchased the practice in December of 2011, adding positive structure and technology upgrades. NVA does an excellent job of retaining local culture and keeping up with the latest developments in veterinary medicine. Staff training has increased along with the services offered like Dental Radiography. This transition has enhanced our development and performance. Our staff take on more of a personal responsibility in the direction of the hospital; they look at their job as a career.

Our hospital provides the highest quality medical, surgical and dental care services to your precious pets in the Geneva, Illinois and surrounding areas. Our doctors include Dr. Ruth Wiechmann, Dr. Alice Humphrey, Dr. Jennie Christakos, Dr. Nicole Neubert and Dr. Kara Mitchell. Our doctors and staff are committed to promoting responsible pet ownership and educating our clients about preventative health care.
