Hospital Manager



Teresa joined Valley in May 2018 after working 30 years in Retail Management she decided to make a career change. Due to her love of animals and nature veterinary management was the perfect fit. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a BBA in Business Administration and a Minor in Marketing. Teresa enjoys hiking, skiing, scuba diving, and fishing. When not at work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching Tennessee Volunteer football and movies.




Christie was born and raised in Geneva and has always been passionate about animals. Christie joined our team in 2016 and has since been trained as a Veterinary Assistant and hopes to become a CVT in the future! Prior to working at VAH Christie graduated from the Equine Science Program at Black Hawk College before transferring to Western Illinois University where she received a Bachelors in Communications with a minor in Animal Science. Outside of work Christie enjoys art, the outdoors, horseback riding, and spending time with her animals. She has a Quarter pony named Honey Bee, a black lab mix named Ali, and a Box Turtle named Fred!



Elizabeth is a wonderful asset to our VAH team! She started at Valley in August of 2012, and although she is known for many things, we love her for her impeccable memory and her constant happy demeanor. When Elizabeth is not here at Valley, assisting our doctors as a technician and helping our clients in reception, she is often found spending time with her family. Elizabeth and her husband, Brandon, have 3 wonderful children, Zachary, Sean, and Monica, and one Dachshund named Millie! She loves to watch her son play soccer, and to root on our Chicago Blackhawks!


Jenny, MTech

Jenny has worked here at Valley Animal Hospital since 2001. She started as a Kennel Assistant and soon after was trained to be a Veterinary Technician. Jenny has always loved animals and grew up wanting to become a veterinarian. She graduated from North Central College in Naperville as a member of the National Honors Society in Psychology, with a degree in Psychology and a minor in sociology, art and criminal justice. Jenny is now our Technician Team Leader and inventory manager, which means she helps organize the hospital, conducts employee meetings, and oversees the service and care given to both our clients and our patients.


Kathy, CVT

Kathy lives here in Geneva and joined our staff in July of 2005 after graduating from the Bel-Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology in Denver, Colorado. Kathy has one daughter named Tiffany. She has 5 cats, Arwen, Patches, Peaches, Shania and Orange Juice. She loves educating our clients on anything they want to know! Kathy has wanted to work with animals since she was a little girl, just ask her mom. In case you're looking for someone to watch your pets while you are on vacation, Kathy is a highly recommended pet sitter.



Lindsay started with us back in 2002. She has three cats named Boo Boo, Nemo, and Olaf. She loves being a veterinary technician because every day is always a unique experience. It is really rewarding for her to see pets she treated and cared for return healthier and happier. Her areas of interest include assisting with surgery and performing pet dental cleanings. When Lindsay is not working, she loves spending time with her two daughters and son.



Michael joined Valley Animal Hospital in May of 2018, during his sixteenth year in veterinary medicine. He has worn many hats within the clinics he has worked in, ranging from kennel, to reception, to technician and even a hospital manager. Michael is passionate about educating clients about the needs of their pets. His other passions include rescue, training and behavior. Michael is Free Free Certified, which means he is trained to handle those scared and nervous pets we see from time to time. Outside of work, Michael stays busy with his seven dogs (2 Labrador Retrievers, 3 Yorkshire Terriers, a Pitbull Terrier and a Boston Terrier mix), nineteen cats, four rabbits, two chinchillas, and other exotic pets, which include turtles, birds, and lizards. Outside of work, his passions include his family, friends, a new found joy of traveling and probably most importantly, cats. You will most likely find him rooting for the Green Bay Packers, but also the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs and Chicago Fire.



Olivia has been working at our hospital since 2003. Olivia has three cats, Reese's Pieces, Maya and Sebastian. Her areas of interest include assisting in surgery, dental health, and radiography. Outside of work, Olivia loves doing art and photography projects. She also spends free time taking dance classes and performing.



Penny has over 20 years of experience working in the veterinary field. She has 2 dogs, Kahlula and Gypsy, and 2 cats, Jersey and Mooch. Penny enjoys performing lab work and helping patients and their owners feel better. When not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter, especially camping and being outdoors.

Vet Assistant



Kristen started at Valley in April of 2018. She has loved animals since she was little. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her dog Mickey, cat Chloe, Crested Gecko Noble, and her Bearded Dragon Spyro. Her hobbies include playing video games, Anime and watching The Office.




Savannah joined Valley in August of 2018. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her cat Ninja, puppy Woody, two turtles Optimis and Claws, and her four chickens Henrietta, Ella, Cawaka, and Camille. Her hobbies include bowling, going to their lake house in Wisconsin where she enjoys swimming, boating and horseback riding.

Client Service Representative



Amber joined the Valley team in January of 2019. She has been working in veterinary medicine for the past 14 years. Amber has 3 kids that keep her very busy. She has 2 dogs, Hera and Dilly, and a cat named Gus. She loves to travel and read and never misses an episode of Jeopardy.



Anna joined our team in September 2013 and is excited to be part of VAH. Prior to joining VAH, Anna had volunteered her time for the Fox Valley Wildlife Center. Anna is a mother of three wonderful girls, and she has 3 dogs, 1 rabbit, 2 doves, and a fresh water aquarium!



Becca joined the team in May of 2018 and enjoys meeting your fury friends. She loves helping people and has wanted to work with animals since she was a little girl. Becca has grown up with a turtle named Sampson, 2 cats- Stinker and Skippy, and a dog buddy. In 2016 she adopted a 6-year-old English bulldog named Winston and loves his quirky personality and all he comes with. She enjoys lounging with her pup and taking him on the short walks that he allows. When she is not at work she loves to cook and spend as much time as she can outdoors- hiking, fishing, and camping.



We are happy to have Brooke as part of our Valley Animal Hospital team. Brooke will always welcome you with a warm smile as she loves working with clients and their pets. Brooke has a love for animals and lives with 2 cats Trixxie and Nala and her dog Koda a Chiweenie (Chihuahua/doxin mix)! She is currently working on getting her veterinary assistant certificate.



Courtney joined Valley in January of 2019. She moved from Kansas in 2015 to be closer to family. When not at work Courtney enjoys spending time with her 5 pets Cecilia a tricolored 9 year old Shih-Tzu, Dexter a white/orange 11 year old domestic shorthair cat, Ollie an orange 12 year old domestic short hair cat, Cleo a black 8 month old Persian cat, and Bunker an orange 10 year old Persian cat. When not working her hobbies include going to movies, shopping, spending time with family and friends, bowling and going to concerts/festivals.



Kim joined our team in September 2018, but has worked in the veterinary field since 2014. Her love and compassion for animals along with her many years working customer service make her a perfect fit for Valley Animal Hospital. She has lived in the St. Charles/Geneva area all her life and shares her home with her husband and 4 children. She has two furry friends a Shih Tzu/Bichon mix named Rizzo and a pit bull mix named Agnes. In her free time she loves to spend time outdoors gardening and watching her husband coach their boys baseball.



Lucie joined the Valley Animal team in November of 2018. She grew up in Manchester, England and moved to the United States to marry the love of her life, Tim. They lived in Los Angeles, California until they relocated to Geneva, Illinois in 2013 with their son, Noah, and Bootsy, “the cat.” Lucie also adopted another fur baby, Louie, a Lhasa Apso mix in 2018. Because of her love for animals, Lucie changed careers and enrolled in the Veterinary Tech Assistant Program at Animal Behavior College.




Murdock is our current clinic cat. He loves to hang out in the doctors’ office and makes a great lap cat. He makes sure everyone stays hard at work. In his spare, time Murdock loves to eat, sleep, and play with his toys…he especially loves his catnip!


Mr. G

Our hospital was lucky to have this addition to our “resident cats”. Mr. G enjoys giving the staff a much needed back rub while they sit in the break room.
