Dr. Christakos has been with us since September 2010. She grew up in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. While earning her bachelor's degree in biology from Drake University she also played Division I soccer. She then went on to attend the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine where she received her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2010. Dr. Christakos' areas of interest include dermatology, dentistry, and surgery. In her free time, she loves to run, travel, and spend time with her husband, daughter, son, and Labrador retriever mix named Ellie.
