Michael joined Valley Animal Hospital in May of 2018, during his sixteenth year in veterinary medicine. He has worn many hats within the clinics he has worked in, ranging from kennel to reception, to technician, and even a hospital manager. Michael is passionate about educating clients about the needs of their pets. His other passions include rescue, training, and behavior. Michael is Fear Free Certified, which means he is trained to handle those scared and nervous pets we see from time to time. Outside of work, Michael stays busy with his seven dogs (2 Labrador Retrievers, 3 Yorkshire Terriers, a Pitbull Terrier, and a Boston Terrier mix), nineteen cats, four rabbits, two chinchillas, and other exotic pets, which include turtles, birds, and lizards. Outside of work, his passions include his family, friends, a newfound joy of traveling, and probably most importantly, cats. You will most likely find him rooting for the Green Bay Packers, but also the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs, and Chicago Fire.
